Project Overview
Open-vocabulary visual verification built on Gemma 4. Upload a photo, name what you are checking for, and get a yes or no verdict with a confidence score and the visible evidence behind it.
African Connection
Is It? checks a photo against a target and returns a yes or no, a confidence score and the visible evidence. The presets target problems common in African markets and farms: crop leaf disease for smallholders with no agronomist nearby, fish freshness for buyers, and doctored receipts and mobile-money screenshots. It runs on Gemma 4, whose weights are open, so the same code can run offline on a local machine through Ollama. Data stays on the device, there is no per-call cost, and no foreign API is required.
